13 Reasons

Firstly, I’d like to apologise for my absence from the blogging community. I have been bogged down with University commitments as well as personal commitments. I have also been binge watching 13 Reasons Why and WOWEE! What a show that is! I’m not going to lie it is quite messed up, and in my opinion that’s what makes it a great series. It also has a great message behind all the darkness and that is you should never judge a book by its cover because you never know what someone is going through. It also teaches lessons about the effects of bullying, depression etc. However, I want to focus on ‘Not judging a book by its cover, because you never know what that individual is experiencing in their life’

To me this is an incredibly important message. That’s why I believe you should always be nice to people and treat others how you would want to be treated. When you meet someone, you don’t know what’s going on in their lives, you can only judge from face value. That’s what you should eradicate from your system. Get to know individuals you meet. Ask about their lives. Be friendly and positive. Make a positive impact in their lives, even if it’s just for one conversation, because you never know who’s hurting. Even a smile or wave will suffice. A smile can not only make someone’s day, it can also make someone’s life. So be that difference!!

(To all those who are hurting inside. Who are going through dark days. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, even if it doesn’t appear to be clear during your current situation. It’s there. Happiness is around the corner. If you need help finding it, don’t be afraid to ask. Express your emotions. Talk to somebody, because there will always be someone who wants to listen! You are not alone!!!)

Thanks again for reading. Posts will be in and out due to university comments. Hope you understand. Enjoy your day and be that DIFFERENCE!!
